Configure an Atom number in ElevenLabs
Connect an Atomic voice service to ElevenLabs Agents through a SIP trunk, which carries calls between the two services.
Before you begin
Make sure you have:
- Access to the Atomic portal.
- Access to your ElevenLabs account.
- The telephone number you want to configure.
- The Atom voice service username and password.
Keep your password secure: Do not paste the SIP password into tickets, chat messages or screenshots.
Create the Atom voice service
Step 1: Sign in to the Atomic portal.
Step 2: In the sidebar, open Services then select Voice.
Step 3: Create a new Voice Service.
Step 4: Select the Customer for the service.
Customer not listed: If the customer does not exist yet, follow the create a customer guide before continuing.
Step 5: Set Voice Service Type to SIP Trunk.
Step 6: Give the service a clear name that identifies its ElevenLabs use.
Step 7: Save the service.
Configure the SIP connection
Navigate: Voice Service > Manage > Connection > SIP End Point
Step 1: Return to the Voice service list, find the service you created then select Manage.
Step 2: Select Connection then SIP End Point.
Step 3: Turn on Enable SIP Account.
Step 4: Enter the VOIP password for the service.
Step 5: Select Update.
Order and assign a number
Step 2: Make sure the ordered number is assigned to the Voice Service you created for ElevenLabs.
Import the number into ElevenLabs
Navigate: ElevenLabs Agents > Deploy > Phone Numbers
Step 1: Sign in to ElevenLabs.
Step 2: Open ElevenAgents using the option that applies to you:
- First sign-in: On the Choose your platform page, select ElevenAgents then select Continue.
- Returning user: ElevenLabs opens the platform you previously selected. If you are already in ElevenAgents, continue to Step 3. Otherwise, use the product switcher at the bottom left to select ElevenAgents.
Step 3: Under Deploy in the left navigation, select Phone Numbers.
Step 4: Select + Import number then From SIP Trunk.
Step 5: Enter a Label for the number. In Phone number, enter the number you ordered through Number Request and assigned to your Voice Service in Atomic, using E.164 international format.
Number format: Include the leading +, country code, area code and subscriber number. Do not use spaces. Use your own Atom number, not a number from an example.Step 6: Under Inbound Configuration, enter these settings:
6 of 6 rows
| Media Encryption | Allowed |
| Allowed Numbers | Off |
| Allowed Source IP Addresses | On |
| IP address field | 52.65.130.216/32 |
| Remote Domains | Off |
| Authentication | Off |
Inbound settings: Only add 52.65.130.216/32 to Allowed Source IP Addresses. Do not add a remote domain, username or password to the inbound configuration.Step 7: Under Outbound Configuration, enter these settings:
10 of 10 rows
| Address | sip3.atomcomm.com |
| Transport Type | UDP (experimental) |
| Media Encryption | Allowed |
| G.722 | Enabled |
| PCMU | Enabled |
| PCMA | Enabled |
| Custom Headers | Off |
| Authentication | On |
| SIP Trunk Username | Your Atom voice service username |
| SIP Trunk Password | Your Atom voice service password |
Address: Enter onlysip3.atomcomm.com. Do not addsip:, a port number or any other part of a SIP URI.
Experimental transport: UDP is intended for testing only. Confirm the production transport with Atom and ElevenLabs before deploying this configuration.
Start with outbound Media Encryption set to Allowed. ElevenLabs prioritises encrypted audio (SRTP) when it is available. If outbound calls fail, connect without audio or have one-way audio, change this setting to Disabled.
For this Atom route, Disabled is the fallback when outbound calling is unreliable. It uses standard audio transport (RTP) and can resolve problems agreeing on audio encryption.
Unencrypted audio: With Media Encryption set to Disabled, RTP call audio is not encrypted in transit.
Step 8: Select Import to save the number configuration.
Add the SIP Incoming Trunk in Atom
Navigate: Voice Service Configuration > Connection > SIP Incoming Trunk
Step 1: Return to the Voice Service you created for ElevenLabs in Atomic then open SIP Incoming Trunk.
Step 2: Select Add New.
Step 3: Set the trunk name to
Elevenlabs.Step 4: Enter the ElevenLabs inbound SIP server details:
3 of 3 rows
| Name | Elevenlabs |
| Primary IP | sip.rtc.elevenlabs.io |
| Secondary IP | sip.rtc.elevenlabs.io:5060 |
Step 5: Save the SIP Incoming Trunk.
Hostname fields: The Atom portal labels these fields as IP addresses, but this configuration uses an ElevenLabs hostname. These server values are normally the same for Atom voice services. Use different values only if ElevenLabs has supplied an account-specific or region-specific endpoint.
Troubleshooting
Outbound calls fail or have no audio
Step 1: Change outbound Media Encryption from Allowed to Disabled. See the unencrypted-audio warning above.

Step 4: Re-enter the Atom voice service username and password.
Step 5: Confirm G.722, PCMU and PCMA are enabled.
Inbound calls do not reach ElevenLabs
Step 1: Confirm the Atom SIP Incoming Trunk uses
sip.rtc.elevenlabs.io for Primary IP and sip.rtc.elevenlabs.io:5060 for Secondary IP.Step 2: Confirm Allowed Source IP Addresses is on in ElevenLabs.
Step 3: Confirm the allowed address is exactly
