Receiving SMS
The Receive SMS page provides a record of incoming SMS messages received by your SMS services in Atomic. Use it to confirm that a message has reached the platform, identify the sender and recipient, view the message content and received time, or find a specific message for follow-up and troubleshooting.
Navigate: Reporting > Receive SMS
View received SMS records
When the page first opens, it shows messages received during the previous hour. Each record includes the message ID, sender, recipient, message type and received time.
Select View SMS beside a record to view the message content and its sender and recipient details.
If Reply is available, select it to respond to the sender using the receiving SMS service.
Filter received SMS records
Step 1: Select a Service, or leave All Services selected.
Step 2: Set the From and To dates and times.
Step 3: Select Advanced Filter to show more search options when required:
a. Message ID: Enter the exact message ID.
b. Sender: Enter all or part of the sender number or name.
c. Recipient: Enter all or part of the receiving number.
d. Message Type: Enter all or part of the message type.
e. Source: Enter all or part of the source.
f. Timezone: Select the timezone used for the date and time filter and the Received Time shown in the results.
Step 4: Select Filter Search.
Your filters remain applied when you move between result pages.
Select Clear Filters to remove the selected filters and return to the default one-hour date and time range.
