Example
You have a DID number that is mapped to an ICP which ask the caller to enter their postcode. Once they enter their postcode, say
2000, the system will check where to route that particular call.
This is a great way to route a call to a local office or business depending on their postcode.Creating an ICP

Input Code Prompt Settings
Select sound file - The recording that you will like to use for this queue. The file will need to be in mp3 format.
Mute When Key Pressed Detected - If turned on, when the system detects a key press, it will pause the recording that is playing.
Timeout (secs) - The timeout specified in this field starts either when the system sends the call to the recording or when the user enters a digit.
Once you have created an Input Code Prompt, you will now need to add a list to notify the system where the call should be routed to based on the input. To do this, follow the below steps.
Input Code Prompt List
You can use the below attached template to populate your data. Column A (Input Code) should be the code that the system will listen for when the caller presses their keypad. Column B (Number/Extension) will be the number or extension that the system will connect the call if there is a matching result.
⚠️
If there is no match, the system will automatically disconnect the call based on your Timeout (secs) settings above.
